This is the U.S. History Blog for my 11th grade students at Malcolm X High School in New York.
On this blog site, students will “interact” with historical people, places, and events, and share their thoughts and feelings about the topics in American history. Students will analyze and think about primary source documents, research issues covered in class units, and respond to teacher questions and assignments.
FDR used the radio and gave his famous "Fireside Chats." He was an excellent orator! FDR was afflicted by polio eleven years before his presidency, and understood the concept of "human suffering." He could "relate" to the common man.
